Roundtable- Caseload vs Workload for Occupational Therapists in the schools

Join NHOTA and a panel of experienced school based OT's from the Strafford Learning Center, Somersworth, NH to discuss caseload vs. workload in the school setting. The format of this virtual presentation allows for attendees to ask questions to the panel and share ideas.  

Objectives: 

1. Define Caseload

2. Define Workload,

3. Begin the discussion of the 'why' and 'how' to implement the workload model to include the efficiency and widespread benefit to the general education population.

About the speaker: 

Kelly Sweet, OTR/L Program Director for the OTPT department at Strafford Learning Center has been an occupational therapist for 30 years and has worked in every setting, however, pediatrics has always been her soft spot. Post covid, the opportunity to return to her first love, the school system and Strafford Learning Center opened up. Kelly recently took the position of program director for the OTPT group due Marta's promotion to Assistant Executive Director. She works with a fantastic group of therapists, and says she could not be more grateful.

The mission of the New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Association is to advance the practice of occupational therapy in our state.
